Words, . . not the best method of expressing my true nature, so I do my best to show it through other artistic endeavors. That includes just about anything I get my hands or mind on, and not just through the manipulation of materials. The beauty in any unique creation is more than how you apply your skill at crafting something, . . . its soulfulness is borne of speculation, in how you perceive everything around you. It is your intuition, your awareness, your focus, and a steadfast belief that what you observe reveals the mysteries of life itself, and that which truly feeds your soul. When you put your hands to something and fully engage your mind, you forge something that only you can, . . a creation that cannot be undone.
For those of us who focus on details anytime during the creative process, we tend to stumble on undefined obstacles, or at least hesitate to provide substitute solutions that fully identify with the finite facets of our visions, . . . my ultimate goal in creating works of art. These are often self constructed limitations and they are the direct result of our inability to connect at higher levels of consciousness. The inability is not attributable to the recognizance of our potential, but rather due to the promotion of an incessant impulsive display of fear, doubt, and insecurity. It is precipitated by a culture of disillusionment, one that needs enduring spiritual and holistic leadership.
“Design is a way of life, a point of view. It involves the whole complex of visual communications: talent, creative ability, manual skill, and technical knowledge. Aesthetics and economics, technology and psychology are intrinsically related to the process.”
Though I direct my mind, heart, and spirit into crafting objects that embody the intrinsic nature of my perceptions, none can fully articulate the pure essence of their importance. If just by signaling the virtue of their individual merit, I would hope to keep the worlds attention just long enough to grasp the significance in achieving a broader state of consciousness.
That is the intent in revealing it to the world anyway, correct? To share a new perspective, in hopes that we (all off us) form a more sentient bond. Conversely, you could make the point that it is I who needs affirmation that this method of expression, the one that is borne of my substance, has relevance in our universe? We all ask this question while searching the vast depths of our existence. If you haven’t yet, then you will some day.
Focus

This is “Acumen”. A testament to forming a sense of balance and accuracy. It was created during our first show at the Renaissance festival in Charlotte, NC.
It has a tribal and futuristic appeal. Stoic, Valient, Focused and Confident.
SYnchronicity

This is “Synchronicity”. A Vessel built to challenge my will during difficult and demanding times earlier in life.
Shear focus of will over body and mind allowed me to reveal its stunning beauty.
Reverence

This is “Reverence”. A Vessel built to pay homage to those things I have yet to experience.
A small and mighty sculpture evoking the mindset to understanding purpose.
Gratitude

This is “Aeon”. The inception of the vessel as a means to embody gratitude. The strength of the structure was built around a solid foundation.
The principle of Eternity is held within.
Devotion

This is “Queens Promise”. It was created for my Queen during our first show at the Renaissance festival in Charlotte, NC.
Passionate, enduring, and full of charm.
Vitality

This is “Tranquility”. The first in a series of many sconces created during our first show at the Renaissance festival in Charlotte, NC.
A dynamic and spry sconce that embodies the spirit of awakening.

At some point we will reopen the Elegant Metal Design store. There is so much more, including some special things I haven’t yet shared.
